Student Testimonies
As tertiary educators, it can be difficult to make our leadership and expertise visible to others, especially when most teaching happens behind closed doors with only the students themselves present. Thankfully the Student Feedback Survey exists (!) - a tool that students can use to provide feedback on their learning experiences at the end of a semester/subject. I pride myself on my background in education and the way I am able to translate my strong theoretical understanding of teaching into skillful and innovative practice. The best aspects of Ally's teaching style was how grounded and friendly she was. She would get down on our level when talking to us, opening up conversations and allowed everyone to share their thoughts.
