Recycled Products Are Out There...

As environmentally conscious Australians, we know the importance of reducing our consumption of plastics. Our individual decision-making is incredibly important when it comes to making choices that benefit and ultimately protect the future of our planet. However, try as we might to avoid single-use shopping bags, coffee cups, and other disposable nasties, the use of plastic remains persistent; promoting the continuation of unsustainable behaviours.

Knowing that plastics are still being manufactured at an alarming rate each year, how might we encourage the implementation of a circular economy by transforming waste into something wonderful and new? Well, at home in Australia, many businesses are already taking encouraging steps in the right direction by using recycled plastics to make products that are far gentler on the earth than their PET counterparts. The solutions to our plastic woes are here, we just need to know where to look. 

Imagine a home in which recycled products are prioritised and celebrated; where eco-friendly alternatives to pesky plastics are waiting to be discovered behind doors and in drawers. What would a living space look like if it implemented and showcased innovative recycled products?
